Q. I want a website, but don't know where to start.
A. Our STARTER PACKAGE is a one-stop all-in one package for organisations who want a web presence for the first time. For one price you get everything you need for your first, basic website including your domain name (i.e. .co.uk or .com), your own email, and one (or more) basic web pages (text and images provided by yourself) - plus hosting and web stats.

Q. What do I need to provide for a STARTER PACKAGE?
A. You provide your required text plus any images or graphics you require (e.g. your logo, graphics, photographs etc).

Q. How long will it take to get a STARTER PACKAGE?
A. About 2 weeks from confirmation of your order.

Q. Can I review it before I pay?
A. We ask for 50% of the one-time costs on confirmation of your order, and 50% on acceptance (about 2 weeks later). The hosting fee is paid from acceptance onwards, by direct debit or stop order, monthly in advance. Your website will go live once the direct debit kicks in.

Q. What will changes cost?
A. You can make reasonable changes (e.g. error fixing or minor additions) for 30 days after you accept your website. After that we charge £10 per hour for changes. We are happy to discuss prices "per change" with you.

Q. Will you place anything on my site?
A. We will place a link at the bottom of your pages, such as "Designed and Hosted by LBWebDesign". This helps us keep costs down but also helps you with your search engine rankings.

Q. I think I need something more complex. Can you do it?
A. Yes, we probably can. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Q. I already have a website. Can I transfer it to you?
A. Yes, start by contacting us to discuss your requirements. It might be possible to move your existing website onto our servers at zero cost - so that you just begin paying the monthly hosting fee.

Q. Do you allow "adult" sites?
A. No, we do not allow "adult" sites (e.g. pornography) on our servers.

Q. Are your server's Unix, or NT?
A. Our servers are Linux Red Hat 7.3. and Red Hat 9.0

Q. Where is your datacenter?
A. Our datacenter is located in Houston, Texas and is staffed 24/7/365. There are multiple OC48 SONET fiber rings that provide basic connectivity to eight access carriers.

Q. What is your uptime guarantee?
A. Your site will have a 99.9% uptime. If we fail to deliver we will provide you with a refund for that month hosting.
